Oliver Twist (Ollie) came to us from the rugged terrain of Black Mountain HMA in Arizona, where wild burros have roamed for generations.

Adopted through Deerwood Ranch in Wyoming in June, Galileo carries the quiet resilience of a burro shaped by desert landscapes — alert, sure-footed, and deeply curious about the world around him.

At 10 years old, he brings a calm maturity that makes him a joy to work with, and his compact build is a reminder that a great heart comes in all sizes. Galileo is one of the reasons we do this work: every burro has a story worth telling, and his is just beginning.

Meet Dandy Andy (Andy) — a stunning four-year-old chocolate burro with roots in the rugged desert landscape of Arizona's Big Sandy Herd Management Area. Ashton made his way to us from Deerwood Ranch in Wyoming, arriving in June to begin the next chapter of his wild life as a gentled companion.

His rich, warm coat is as striking as his spirit, carrying the quiet resilience of a burro born on open range. Still young and full of potential, Ashton is an ideal candidate for bonding, training, and building the kind of trust that turns a wild burro into a lifelong partner.
